Questions and answers
Will the general contractor accept the document?
Approval comes from the GC's site manager, so we cannot promise it. The document has the structure and content GCs require: a title page with approvals, a risk assessment for every stage, supervision, equipment, people and a briefing sign-off sheet. If the GC has comments, we will revise it free of charge for 14 days, and if after two revisions the GC rejects it in writing because of its content, we will refund its price. Conditions: true and complete data in the form, the GC's template sent to us (if the GC requires one) and a claim within 30 days of delivery. The binding rules will be set out in the terms of sale.
My general contractor has its own IBWR template. What then?
Tell us which template it is: in the sign-up form (question field) or in the order notes. At launch, the document has its own fixed layout with the elements general contractors require. Adapting it to the templates you mention most often will be our first extension.
How long does it take?
The form takes about 15 minutes. We email the document no later than the next working day after an order with complete data is paid. If something is missing, we will ask by email and the time runs from when you send it.
Do I have to give my workers' personal data?
No. We do not collect workers' names, PESEL numbers or medical certificates. The briefing sign-off sheet has blank fields that you fill in on site.
In what format will I get the document?
Word (.docx), in Polish: you can edit, print and sign it. The Plus plan adds a Ukrainian or English version and a rescue plan for work at height or a permit to work.
How is the document created?
The system assembles the IBWR from ready-made modules for your type of works, and an AI model tailors the text to your form data. Before sending, the document goes through the 28-point check and is read by a person.
Is the document prepared by an OHS specialist?
No. The system assembles the document from our library of requirements (regulations with their legal basis), and a person reads it before it is sent. We are not an OHS service and do not replace one: the contractor prepares, approves and signs the instruction (§ 2 of the Regulation of 6 February 2003), and the contractor's OHS service, if it has one, gives its opinion on it.
How do I pay, and will I get an invoice?
By BLIK, card or Przelewy24, with a VAT invoice for your company. Subscriptions and larger orders can also be paid by bank transfer against an invoice with payment terms. We sell to businesses only.
Is the service available in English?
This website, the waiting list and our emails to you are in English. The order form and the binding documents (terms, rules, privacy policy) are in Polish, with English translations on this site. The IBWR itself is prepared in Polish, because Polish sites require it; the Plus plan adds an English or Ukrainian version for your crew.
Why a waiting list?
Sales open on 1 December 2026 and until then we do not accept orders or payments. People on the list will hear about the launch first, and the first 30 companies from the list that pay for an order within 30 days of the launch will get their first IBWR for PLN 149 net. Signing up does not commit you to anything.
Who is responsible for what
Under § 2 of the Regulation of the Polish Minister of Infrastructure of 6 February 2003 on health and safety during construction works, the contractor prepares the instruction and briefs the workers on it. That is why you get a draft document in Word: you read it, correct anything that is different on site, and sign it.
- We
- deliver a document consistent with your form data, run the 28-point check and revise it after GC comments for 14 days.
- You
- provide true data, read the document before signing, brief your workers and supervise the work on site.
- AI
- helps tailor the text to your site, but thresholds and requirements (zones, distances, wind) come from our library of regulations, not from the model's memory. The document footer states that AI was used.
We do not replace your OHS service, training or supervision on site. The IBWR does not replace the site safety plan (BIOZ), the occupational risk assessment for workstations that the employer keeps (Article 226 of the Polish Labour Code) or on-the-job instruction. The document is not legal advice or an OHS specialist's opinion.
Works we do not cover
We do not prepare IBWR for these works, because they require separate qualifications, measurements or plant procedures, and a mistake in the document can end in disaster. Such orders are declined and refunded in full (Terms § 2(7)):
- works using explosives,
- removal of asbestos-containing products,
- live electrical work,
- diving and underwater work, and work on water or from vessels,
- work in explosive atmospheres,
- demolition of structures or their load-bearing elements,
- tunnelling and work on mining sites,
- gas-hazardous work on live gas networks, and work on live pressure systems or systems containing hazardous substances without isolating and emptying them,
- work in tanks, sewers, shafts and other confined spaces (including entering cable chambers),
- roadworks with live traffic without an approved traffic management scheme,
- work within the zone of live railway tracks,
- work with sources of ionising radiation,
- work at upper-tier major-hazard plants outside the plant's own permit system.
Work at cable chambers without entering them, work near overhead power lines with the required clearances, excavations and lifting people in work platforms are covered as modules with requirements.
